PE

Over the last couple of weeks, whilst the year 4s have been swimming, the y3s have been doing gymnastics! We started off by looking at creating different shapes and how to perform them so we looked like progressional gymnasts!

We then moved on to using those different shapes to travel. We used different levels, speeds and different body parts to create different ways of travelling!

We also made it harder by adding some equipment to travel around or through.

Those of us that are too injured to join in with the practical activities took photos and videos of the gymnasts and helped them improve on their performances.

Lincoln class have also been working on net and wall games, focusing on volleyball this week.

To improve our teamwork and communication we had a go at towel volleyball... It was very tricky!

This week in Lincoln Class

Here's what we have been doing this week:
In English we have been following and writing our own instructions for making Tudor sweets!

We made out Tudor sweets using marzipan and moulding gem into various shapes and adding some detail!

In Maths we have been learning about the Roman Numeral system! We worked out that we could only use V once and I and X only 3 times within a number! Have a look at out Roman Numeral posters we made using lollipop sticks!

In Science this week we have been dissecting flowers and identifying the different parts!
