Easter!

It's the final week before Easter and we have done lots of exciting things!

This week we have been writing our own play scripts! We started by looking at ones that had already been written and performing them. We then wrote our own in a group and finally wrote our own individual play script at the end of the week!

In science this week we have been building our own circuits and even drawing them using the correct symbols! We thought about adding lots of different components to our circuits and some of us even added in a switch!

On Thursday we took part in our annual music festival! Well done to all of the soloists and to all of the children who sang with their classes!

We were so happy to be having Sammy again next term that we had to celebrate with him!

Happy Easter everyone.... We managed to find all of our Easter treats!,

Tudor Take Me Out

What a fantastic end to the week for Lincoln and Millfield class! ... All the hard work paid off!

Everyone involved in the class assembly did a fantastic job and made themselves proud! Not only did we learn lots about the Tudors and Henry VIII but we had lots of fun doing it, we hope you all had fun watching it too!

World Book Day

What a fantastic day!

Lincoln class started off the day discussing the favourite books in their very own book club. Take a look at our costumes and favourite books ... Along with some book selfies!

 The Hobbit and Beast Quest
Matilda!

After sharing our favourite books we wrote our own book reviews and messages to the authors. Hopefully we can tweet these messages to the authors and fingers crossed for a reply!

It was lovely to see the older children reading with the younger children today... Everybody sharing their love for reading!

We spent the afternoon as different characters from Harry Potter, on our way to Hogwarts for the very first time! We thought about how it would feel and what we could see as we approached the castle. We came up with some fantastic sentences which we put into some brochures for Hogwarts!

Keep up the great reading!
