Roman Day

Take a look at the photos from our Roman day!

We started off the day by trying out some different activities:

1. Making an aqueduct 

2. Roman mosaics 

3. Roman games

4. Making a Roman arch

We then had the chance to become Roman soldiers and practise our tortoise formation whilst barbarians threw rocks at us to check our formation was strong enough! 

In the afternoon we got to try some Roman foods and dress up as Romans! 

Roman Dance

This term Beth Williams is coming to teach us dance! Every Wednesday afternoon we will have a dance session where we will create our Roman dance, looking at different aspects of Roman life! 

Today we looked at Roman gladiators and thought about how they would feel. Take a look at our gladiator poses!
